The Podcast that I listened to was called How will the field of School Library Media Evolve?
The podcaster interviewed different librarians, authors, and media specialists and asked them the question from the title. She also asked other questions such as do you think kindles will replace paper books? The librarians all had the same kind of response they feel like the library is getting more technological, books are never going to be fully replaced by the computer but computers have an important place in where the library is going. Computers are seen as a positive thing and one of our main responsibilities as librarians is to make sure that our students are producing good content. The library is no longer about reading and absorbing information, it is becoming a place where information is being created. It was a very good blog I liked that it was interviewing people that have experience in libraries in the past and currently. One of the librarians also through out this pitch about her blog. It is a blog that reviews children's books I listed the link below. Check.
